1. Contents of offer

CityBookings provides accommodation services based on customers’ individual requests. CityBookings provides information for potential customers on booking accomodation in private apartments, hotels, holiday villages and country houses on the following websites: CityBookings, warsawapartments.org, krakowapartments.org, nordeastcomfort.org, lowcostapartments.org, polandapartments.org and other domains belonging to CityBookings.
CityBookings guarantees the authenticity of the description and photographs of the accommodation units displayed on the abovementioned websites.
CityBookings provides accommodation in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions here outlined.
CityBookings is not liable for circumstances caused by conditions beyond its control, including wars, riots, strikes, acts of terrorism, natural disasters, sanitary disruptions, restrictions by local authorities, death or illness of service provider and the like.


2. Booking and payment

Inquiries and booking of accommodation can be carried out electronically, by post or by telephone. When booking, the customer is required to provide all necessary information, and pay the relevant deposit. The amount of the deposit (from 10-50%) depends on the terms and services agreed, regardless of the payment method chosen. Upon payment of the deposit, the client will be issued with a booking document (voucher). In paying the deposit, the customer agrees price and services and confirms that he is familiar with the General Terms and Conditions and that he accepts them in their entirety. Thus, everything stated in the General Terms and Conditions becomes legally binding both for the customer and CityBookings.
The balance of the total cost must be paid directly to the service provider or partner agency upon arrival, unless otherwise stated.
The contract between CityBookings and the customer comes into force with confirmation of the reservation and the receipt of the deposit by CityBookings.
The contract between the customer and the service provider comes into force with payment of the balance of the accommodation.


3. Price of accommodation

The price of accommodation includes the basic services as described in the booked accommodation unit. The prices published on CityBookings web pages vary from unit to unit, and are shown next to every accommodation unit. The price of accommodation is given in euro (EUR).
CityBookings reserves the right to make changes to the stated prices (in the event that the service provider changes prices or there are changes in exchange rates). For customers who have paid a deposit for their reservation, CityBookings guarantees the price of accommodation as agreed at the time of paying the deposit. If changes occur prior to payment of the deposit, CityBookings is required to inform the customer immediately.
If more customers than are stated on the voucher arrive at the accommodation unit, the service provider has the right to deny the extra customers accommodation or to accommodate all of the customers at an extra charge payable directly to the service provider.
The prices stated on the web pages of CityBookings are calculated upon agreements with service providers or partners and do not necessarily correspond to prices offered by other agencies or the service providers themselves. Therefore, no recourse can be given in the even of any price differences.


4. Special and optional services

Special or optional services are services which are not included in the price of the accomodation. Such services are available upon request at the time of booking, and can be found in the description of the accomodation or under “excursions”. They are payable according to the prices displayed at the agency at the destination.


5. Travel documents

When travelling to the chosen destination, the customer is obliged to have valid travel documents (passport or identity card depending on the requirements of the agency which registers the customer) needed for his registration. A visa is essential to enter Russia
The customer is obliged to produce the voucher issued upon payment of the deposit to the travel agency or service provider upon arrival at the destination, and to pay the balance of the total cost of accomodation.
The customer is required to obey customs regulations and currency exchange regulations of the country where the destination is located .


6. Residence tax

In certain countries, customers are required to pay a Soujourn Tax. The amount of this tax depends on the country and the length of stay and must be paid, according to these General Terms and Conditions, along with the balance owed for the acccomodation. The amount of this Soujourn Tax will be indicated in the at the time of booking


7. Categorization and service description

Accommodation units offered by CityBookings (apartments, hotels or the others objects) are described based on an onsite assessment prior to being published on CityBookings' website.
Standards of accommodation, food, services, etc. differ from country to country, and thus cannot be compared.
Check-in time is at 2 p.m. on the day of arrival. If an earlier check-in is possible, CityBookings or their partner agency is required to inform the customer.
The customer is obliged to leave the accommodation unit at 10 a.m. on the day of departure. If the customer leaves the accommodation sooner than set out in the booking, he is required to inform the office he registered in by 6 p.m. on the day before the departure day.


8. Customer's right to changes and cancellation

Any changes or cancellations must be made in writing (email, mail or fax). Changes include changes to the number of customers, arrival / departure dates etc. Changes must be made not later than 30 days before the arrival date.
The first change to the reservation is free of charge, unless it entails further expenses for CityBookings. For all further possible changes to the reservation, 50 EUR will be charged per change. Should a change to the reservation not be possible and should the customer cancel the reservation for this reason, the conditions for the cancellation of reservation listed below will be enforced.
Any change of accommodation unit and all other changes made within the 30 days preceeding the arrival date or during use of the accommodation unit are considered as a cancellation of reservation.
In the case of cancellation, the date of receipt of the written cancellation is used to calculate cancellation costs as follows:
a) For cancellation up to 15 days before arrival date the deposit will not be returned to the customer - max. 30% of the accommodation price will be charged
b) For cancellation from 9 - 14 days before arrival date, 50% of the accommodation price will be charged
c) For cancellation from 4 - 8 days before arrival date, 80% of the accommodation price will be charged.
d) Should the customer cancel less than three days before arrival date, or not arrive, or cancel during use of the accommodation unit, the full price of the accommodation will be charged.
If the cancellation is owing to force majeur, customers must produce a written statement and CityBookings will charge for actual costs incurred, up to a maximum of 25% of the total value of the reservation.
Should the customer not arrive at the booked accommodation unit before 12.00 on the day after the arrival date and the customer has not informed CityBookings or the service provider, the reservation is considered cancelled and therefore the cancellation costs will be charged as described above (point d).
Should the customer find a replacement for the cancelled reservation, CityBookings will only charge the actual costs incurred by the replacement.


9. CityBookings' rights to changes and cancellation

CityBookings reserves the right to change or modify a reservation in case of circumstances caused by conditions beyond its control that cannot be predicted, avoided or rectified (See Article 1).
Booked accommodation can be substituted only by an accommodation unit of the same or higher category and at the price confirmed during booking, provided that customer is notified ahead of time.
If the substitute accommodation is available only in an accommodation unit of higher category and the price of the substitute accommodation is 15% higher than the initially booked accommodation, CityBookings reserves the right to charge the price difference upon consulting the customer.
In cases where substitute accommodation for paid accommodation is not available, CityBookings reserves the right to cancel the reservation upon prior customer notification (at least 7 days before arrival) and guarantees refund of the complete paid amount.
If an adequate substitute accommodation is not available on the day of arrival, CityBookings will provide information on available accommodation offer and guarantees the refund of the complete paid amount if the customer does not accept the alternative offered.


10. Customer's obligations

The customer is required to have valid travel documents and to obey customs regulations and currency exchange regulations of the country where the destination is located.
The customer is required to obey house rules in accommodation units and to produce the booking confirmation (the voucher received by mail or email) upon arrival. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure he has a valid visa (if necessary) for the destination country or for neighboring countries.
If the customer does not adhere to the obligations listed above, he is liable for any damages caused and must cover any expenses.
By confirming the reservation, the customer agrees to pay for all damages caused directly to the service provider.


11. CityBookings' obligations

CityBookings is obliged to send the customer the confirmation of the reservation made and the voucher upon payment of deposit or the total sum (Article 3).
CityBookings undertake to monitor the quality of services offered and to look after customers' interests and rights according to accepted practices in tourism. CityBookings will carry out all stated obligations in full and as described above, except in circumstances caused by conditions beyond its control (Article 1) .


12. Luggage

CityBookings is not responsible for damaged, destroyed or lost luggage, or for the theft of luggage or valuables in the accommodation unit (rental of a safety deposit box is recommended if available). Lost luggage or stolen goods should be reported to the service provider and to the local police department.


13. Travel insurance

CityBookings advises clients to take out travel insurance to cover any eventualities such as health care, accidents, loss of baggage etc. The insurance contract is between the client and the insurance company. In the case of an unforeseen event CityBookings will provide a minumum of aid, and is not liable for costs of healthcare or any other assistance.


14. Complaints

If the services provided are not satisfactory, the customer is entitled to seek reasonable compensation by sending written complaint. Every customer is entitled to file a complaint if the paid service is not provided.
The customer is required to complain to the service provider about the inadequate service immediately on the day of his/her arrival and to notify CityBookings' office by email (office@CityBookingsOnline.com) or by phone +48 511 259 605.
If the problem is not rectified even after an on the spot intervention CityBookings' partner will put down in writing a record of the complaint in two copies, one for CityBookings and the other for the customer. In such cases, the customer is required to send a written complaint along with the partner agency's record and any other relevant documents and photographs to CityBookings by email to office@CityBookingsOnline.com or fax to +39 178 225 1434 within 30 days of returning from their stay. CityBookings will take into consideration only properly filed complaints received within 30 days of return.
CityBookings will reply in writing within 15 days of receipt of the complaint. If CityBookings needs more time to collect information and verify the complaint with the partner agency or service provider, it reserves the right to prolong the response time by a maximum of 15 days.
CityBookings will take into consideration only those complaints which could not be solved on the spot.
The maximum compensation per complaint can amount to the cost of the part of the service(s) in the complaint. It cannot amount to the total sum paid to CityBookings and cannot include services already provided.
CityBookings is not responsible for services which were not booked in advance and confirmed by CityBookings and are paid to other service providers during the customer’s stay.


15. Age Restrictions

To use or register oneself on this site it is necessary to be over eighteen. In visiting and/or using this site, the user confirms that they have the authority and capacity to sign this agreement and to respect the General Terms and Conditions, and declares that they have are at least 18 years old (or 21 in the case in which that is the legal age in their country of residence)


16. Copyright on content of CityBookings

CityBookings possesses all rights to CityBookings. The site contains material protected by copyright, trade marks and other information owned by CityBookings and its partners. With the sole exception of information which is in the public domain or for which express permission has been given, it is not permitted to copy, modify, publish, transmit, distribute, present, exhibit or sell any of the proprietary information published on the site. una di tale informazione proprietaria.


These Conditions are effective as of 01.01.2006. Payment of booking deposit implies agreement with the content of these General Conditions.
